Continuing the Voopoo Drag Series’ leather and metal aesthetic and weighing just 133g, the Drag X Plus Professional Edition is small and stylish, yet outputs an impressive 100W of power for cloud-filled vaping.

The mod is powered by an external battery (18650 or 21700 – not included These batteries can be charged in the device, or swapped out for another battery so you can carry on vaping. This convenient external battery design, combined with its compact size, makes this a great device for vaping on the go.

The Drag X Plus Professional Edition features a GENE.FAN 2.0 chip which gives users two ways to vape. Easy-to-use Smart Mode identifies the coil in use and auto-sets the best wattage while RBA mode allows you to set your own wattage. (See more about Smart Mode in the FAQs below.)

The inclusion of a 0.96” TFT screen on the body of the device displays all the information you need to keep track of your vaping. You can also choose between two display themes to suit your own style.

The included TPP Pod Tank 2 works with TPP coils for Direct-Lung vaping and features an adjustable airflow ring allowing you to tailor the air intake for a looser or more restricted vape as well as a ‘two-way convection’ airway structure to provide more flavour. As well as the included pod tank, the mod’s 510 threaded connection means it can be paired with many other tanks and coil ranges.

The Drag X Plus Professional Edition with TPP Pod Tank 2 uses Voopoo TPP coils and is recommended for use with high VG e-liquids (VG:PG 70:30 and above).

What e-liquid can you use with the Voopoo Drag X Plus Professional Edition kit?

When used with the included pod tank and coils, the device is best used with high VG e-liquids or shortfills with a VG:PG ratio of 70:30 or above.

Can you wash the Voopoo TPP Pod Tank 2?

Yes. Remove the pod from the device and empty out any e-liquid. Wash the pod out with warm (not boiling) water. Ensure that the pod is fully dry before using again.
You can also clean the connections out with cotton to remove dust.

What is Smart Mode?

The Smart Mode feature varies from device to device, but in most cases, Smart Mode is an intuitive feature that takes the guesswork out of controlling the power of devices and prevents the coil from burning out prematurely.

Usually, Smart Mode will detect the resistance of the coil being used and either set the device’s output to the recommended wattage, suggest a wattage or restrict the wattage range you can choose accordingly.

Can I charge my Drag X Plus Professional Edition overnight?

Lithium batteries should not be left unattended when charging. It is also important to use an appropriate charger, such as the Veho Plug Adaptor. For more information see our battery safety infographic.

What is the difference between a 21700 and an 18650mAh battery?

21700 batteries are larger than 18650 batteries, with a size of 21 x 70 mm, as opposed to 18 x 65 mm. They also have a larger battery capacity, which means they can go for longer between charges. The exact battery capacity depends on the brand and battery used.

What is the difference between Mouth-to-Lung (MTL) and Direct-Lung (DL) vaping?

In Mouth-to-Lung vaping you inhale vapour and hold it in your mouth for a moment before inhaling again for the vapour to reach your lungs. In Direct-Lung vaping you inhale in one continuous breath into your lungs. See MTL v DL for more information.

How long do the coils last?

Coil life depends on many factors, including how long you puff for, the e-liquid you use and the wattage you use your coil at. Low resistance coils, which are used at higher wattages, will not last as long as high resistance coils.

You can extend coil life by:

• priming the coil before usage
• using e-liquid with the right VG:PG ratios
• not going above the recommended wattage
• topping up your tank so that the coil never dries out

With care, the included coils should last several days before needing replacing.
